We typically recommend coming in to get your car serviced around every 5,000 miles. Anything below that is unnecessary, and waiting much longer after 5,000 can lead to larger problems occurring before a technician can look at it.

When you bring your car in for an oil change at Shade Tree Auto, we will change your oil filters, top off fluids, air up tires, and provide you with a courtesy inspection. We feel the courtesy inspection is just as important as the oil change as it provides a good opportunity to check your suspensions, tires, fluids, and safety items every 5,000 miles to ensure everything is running correctly and check for any symptoms that might show your car needs more attention than initially thought.
